Jellybean
Hi Car: 2JZGTE Non-VVTI MM6 JPEC I want to tap into the ABS ECU (Speed Sensors) , the ECU is behind the radio , from looking online ,Looks like there might be an option to splice into the white footwell connector. Looking at the RTLC for VVTI , we seem to have a mix of pins , some non-vvti are the same as VVTI etc Question Anybody know the correct pin outs for my car ? Do i need to remove the dash panel to splice into the speed sensors or is there a white plug in the footwell? I think we only have two ABS systems as outlined below? If so I will just use a volt meter and see what setup is in my car For Reference RTLC for VVTI http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?70518-VVTi-Jap-Spec-RLTC-fitting FR+ A21-3 (red) FL+ A21-8 (white) RR+ A20-10 (blue) RL+ A20-22 (purple) Small Plug Pin 3 Red wire .......Front Right Wheel Pin 8 White wire......Front Left Wheel Large Plug Pin 10 Blue Wire......Rear Right Wheel Pin 22 Purple Wire....Rear Left Wheel Just looking at post 6 in this thread there is a white footwell connector. http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?232824-J-Spec-Engine-Harness-Connector-Details&p=2956347&viewfull=1#post2956347 Pin Wire Colour Function Destination(s) 1 N/A No Connection N/A 2 N/A No Connection N/A 3 N/A No Connection N/A 4 Yellow-Blue Unknown Traction ECU pin 15 5 Green-Red Rear Right Wheel Speed Traction ECU pin 12 6 Purple-Red Front Right Wheel Speed Traction ECU pin 14 7 N/A No Connection N/A 8 N/A No Connection N/A 9 N/A No Connection N/A 10 N/A No Connection N/A 11 N/A No Connection N/A 12 N/A No Connection N/A 13 Brown-White Handbrake switch Traction ECU pin 16 14 N/A No Connection N/A 15 Purple-White Rear Left Wheel Speed Traction ECU pin 11 16 Blue-Orange Front Left Wheel Speed Traction ECU pin 13 Edited June 13, 2016 by Jellybean (see edit history)
