Littler
Have a quick question, has anyone weighed a set of Lexus/TTE wheels? If anyone has this info for the 18x8.5 and 18x10 wheels that would be great

Chris Wilson
But they fit properly.... They are quite a heavy wheel due in part to the style of them.

Chris - I pinged you an email re handling including wheel/tyre size and their impact did you receive it? Just thought I'd pull this together: I realise that wheel sizes are not completely comparable but even with a wider tyre on stock wheels, they are holding their own unless you go with a very modern forged wheel. Burna
The rear tyre size is wrong on the TTE wheels mate, it's 275/35/

mellonman
Good little chart , would be good to know the lightest wheels available for the supra, I must admit all the sizing, ofsets and clearance isues put me off.
ianhid
If you want light, something like a Weds TC105N is a good shout. The fronts are 7.5kg and the rears are 8.0kg for 18x8.5ET32 and 18x9.5ET35. You have to get spigot rings machined up as well but that's not the end of the world for a decent machine shop. I'm running Weds SA15R's which are a lot cheaper and a bit heavier, still lighter than stock at 8.65kg and 9.12kg. The main advantage to the stock and TTE wheels is that the bore size is correct and you know they're located exactly as intended and placing the right loads on the suspension.
