Selling this for a friend, rather sell as a complete kit but can look at individual parts if needed....

 

This 5 speed kit consists of:

 

* 5 Speed shifter

* 5 Speed slave cylinder

* 5 Speed flywheel

* Spec Stage 3+ clutch - needs a new drive plate as the rivets are a bit loose but it works fine

 

Basically all you need for a full 5 speed conversion are the pedals, box and master cylinder

 

Collection from near SRD in West Sussex or you can arrange your own courier....

Would this be okay on a tt bpu. And I'm looking to go single soon as I think my turbos are on the way out. I'm not looking for any crazy power, but up to a max of 500bhp. Would the w58 cope with the the torque

id say its probably on the risky side @ 500bhp. I know people do run W58 boxes at bpu and probably will hold out if you don't thrash it everywhere, but i'll leave it up to you. all this is going cheap so if you're interested please let me know

Is the clutch usable? If so, how much and where do I get a new drive plate?

 

edit: forgot to ask - this is on the assumption it will fit a W58 from a jap spec NA

Hi yes w58.

 

The clutch is useable and has been driven fine, although noisy.

 

I have no idea how long it will last if you never replaced the plate but it is certainly useable as is for now, or will be great if you decide to change the plate

 

New plate can be bought from Paul Whiffin I believe

Hi will sell everything for £150 - you can always sell on the bits you may not need. cant go any lower this is already very cheap.

 

I have yourself and a guy via pm interested, both been offered the same price.
