Guest Martin F
John, follow this install guide. http://www.mkiv.com/techarticles/blitz_dsbc/index.html It is exactly the same for the SBC version. I didn't see it in that article but the top of the actuator needs to be plugged, i.e. a bolt clamped inside the old hose.
Alex
The vac hose is t'd off of my boost gauge and runs into the cabin from there into the control box. "T" it of any manifold pressure hose of a big enough diameter.
dude
Thanks Martin what i dont understand is that in the instructions it gives a diagram for seq.twin turbos that shows using BOTH actuators not just one , there is an actuator for each turbo ??? so why not plumb in both . Guest Martin F
Ahhh i understand the confusion now. Only follow the instructions as shown on MKIV.com. The actuator for the first turbo works as an exhaust gas bypass allowing No2 to spool up as well. (think that's right, but it's getting late and i'm tired.) In summary you don't need to worry about the first turbo, just connect to the forward most wastegate and that will be fine. That is how most of us have ours connected.
