Josh42
Hi all, Strange question, but I figured you guys may know. My dad has a BNIB Mercedes Benz gents watch by Torneau. He's looking to sell, but short of EBay, he's not sure where to advertise or what it is worth. Any of you guys able to point him in the right direction? Thanks Josh

Annabella
Any good jeweller shouldn't rip you, go to a couple. Or what was that programme on TV where peeps took their 'stuff' to a guy who valued them and loaned against or bought/sold the stuff for them? Think its these http://www.prestigepawnbrokers.co.uk/news
marc_p
Unfortunately, it's not worth much and an ebay auction may be the best idea if he just wants rid. To the right buyer, he may get £150-£200, I would expect a watch shop to offer maybe around £75.

I recently tried to sell a watch which cost about £1k new but I literally couldn't give it away at any local jewellers. They were only interested in Rolex and such as viable for reselling second hand.

Josh42
Hi Peter, He was gifted it by a Mercedes dealership back in 2011, but it's never seen the light of day as he has a plethora of other watches.
