any front big brake kits about ??????

pay too play

Recommended Posts

I had Motul fluid braided line and Chris Wilson pads in mine and they were really good but then went a bit off so I ordered a big brake kit (currently sat with customs) but I bled the brakes and that was all it took to get them feeling spot on again. But then pads were mega low so I put some cheap Apec ones in the front the morning of Dragonball and they just weren't in the same league as the Chris Wilson pads.

So I'd definitely recommend bleeding the brakes first and then look at pads.

im also at 700+on uk specs with port pads and toyota discs, i found they worked really well for a while but warped my front discs after 5000 miles, so ive just bought some project mu scr pro gt (2 piece fully floating) front disks and im currently making a set of laser cut brake ducts to cool the center of the disc, im going down this root as i dont want to mess up the brake bias of the car.

Does it make any difference what the cars hp is ?

The brakes are stopping the weight of the car not the power of the engine. The extra hp just gets it to a given speed a little faster

I would say power could come into it, it's increasing the velocity of which your car is moving forward assuming you would brake straight after accelerating, something along those lines any how.

Discs were £650 all in from RHD Japan, that's the gold fully floating ones
