JasonR24 Posted May 17, 2016 Share Posted May 17, 2016 Looking for a definitive answer. Does anyone actually have a working profec OLED on a VVTI? We've tried everything we can think of, the manuals way, other methods people have shown using just the first actuator but nothing will allow the boost to go above stock settings. In fact I've only hit 11 psi once the rest of the time it's 9.8 maximum. I would really appreciate it if any member has any idea as to why (other than a faulty unit) as to why this isn't allowing me past stock boost. I have a hks fcd if that is any consequence but it doesn't feel like fuel cut if I'm honest. It just feels like the boost is being limited. Thanks in advance guys! JasonR24 Posted May 18, 2016 Author Share Posted May 18, 2016 I thought the warning only kicks in and sends an audible alarm? Mine is hitting a wall and won't boost beyond 11-12psi. I've bought a Chris Wilson FCD to eliminate completely the possibility of the dodgy hks one but that might not be it. Marty Posted May 18, 2016 Share Posted May 18, 2016 (edited) There is a limiter setting too. It becomes active once you hit the warning boost level.
