Flan
Hey guys, been on the forum a few months now and I see a lot of threads to do with insurance. I've been driving my Supra for a month now no problems. The thing is I see lots of people getting insane insurance quotes but mine wasn't too bad. I have 1 years no claims and with my NA I'm on £160 a month on a ten month accelerator with admiral. Fully comp with a total of £350 excess with breakdown and legal. Even with a TT I got a quote of £2900 which is a lot better than a lot of people that are older than me? Any idea how this is?
Flan
Also might be worth adding my first car was a Civic Type R EP3, don't know if that would be taken into account.
marc_p
Post code, that's it really, you'll be low risk, I was also lucky like you in that mine was cheap when I was 18/19(£1500 FC iirc, few years ago now though!)
Flan
Post code will probably have an effect, in a good ish area, but it's on a main road
