Hi Guys,

I don't usually post things like this but it's for a really good cause and certainly hard work!

One of the crew members on-board the ship that I work on is undertaking a mammoth cycle ride from Athens (Greece) to the UK in order to raise funds for a memorial fund for a close friend and colleague who sadly lost her battle with cancer at the start of the year.

The Andrea Jane Memorial Fund was established in March 2016 to continue Andrea's work with young people following her untimely passing in January 2016 at the age of 39 years. Andrea was heavily involved in the Scout movement from an early age and would often go above and beyond to help young people in need. The funds main objective is to continue this work by providing financial support for 11 to 21 year old people who demonstrate that they want to help themselves.

• Day 4-7 - Meterora, Kalabaka to Bitola 229 Km

Is he going to "queue the music" and convert the bike to a bike powered raft for the channel?

I think he would if he could..

Not that i'd like too after 37 days of riding a bike across europe.
