to be fair if it was staged as an islamic type terror attack then i dont think there should be an issue or offence taken by muslims or anyone else for that matter, GMP are just trying to make it authentic, its wrong to use Allahs name in this way PERIOD but if terrorists say this before blowing sh1t up then its only right its said in a simulation, insensitive given how tetchy things are, yes. i dont think its wrong to use in a simulation environment which is trying to mimick a small % f*ckwit so called muslims, but them f*ckwits do say them words when they do what they do, for whatever misguided reasons

Maybe its the people i know and hang around with but I dont actually feel anyone around me or in the wider sphere think that all muslims are dangerous and follow a commmon type of 'christian/western' hatred

All this talk about religion, yet the religious "experts" still blame religion as the root cause.

90% of the innocent people killed by so called Islamists (new "in" word for the media) are MUSLIMS.

So educate yourself a little, to put things in perspective, in the states a report found toddlers kill more people than terrorists.

That is the bottom line, but yes. Be scared, be very scared. I still own my Muslamic Ray Gun.

ok for me, the positive aspects of my religion to me:-

1. when my parents yell at me, my religion forbids me to raise my voice to my parents. i stay quiet, no arguement takes place, later my mum hugs me and kisses me so much love and respect that I even though they were wrong, i gave them respect. So religious influence here keeps a lot of peace in my household and keeps the mummy hugs coming regurlaly :) (im 29 in my own house but nothing beats a mummy hug :) )

2. my religion prohibits me from drugs and alcohol - it is impossible - I will never loose my licence for drink driving or under influence, i wont loose my rag and get into brawls due to influence, i save a lot of money :) ,

3. my religion states to help anybody in need:-

attached is a pic of a woman stuck in a petrol station at 3am because she had a flat tyre and nobody was there to help, it was blistering cold and wet and she was also lost. i pulled in, helped her out, changed 1 tyre for her only to realise both her tyres were flat, she had no breakdown cover and her husband was at work, i drove her and her daughter 30 miles to her home in watford and refused to take a single penny from her. My religion literally ordered me to do so, to help people in need when they are stuck and do as much as i can in my power to help.

4. I raise money for charity.

5. I never shout or swear at my wife or any women in my life, religion has taught me to handle situations in a certain way, to be rational and talk my problems with the mrs out. My religion also forbids me to comit adultry and to stay faithful. A powerful adition to help keep those naughty desires at bay.... (we all do it so dont bloody try it)

6. My religion also has helped me keep fit and clean, washing and praying 5 times a day has helped my back pain and the issue i had in my right knee, also has got rid of the dry skin problem i had because my skin is getting enough hydration.

7. my religion has made me very thankful for things i have, i appreciate my family, money, cars, property etc. a hell of a lot more.

8. from this has lead to me giving more to the less fortunate, going to 3rd world countries and personally helping families up. giving to charities etc.

9. i have become a lot kinder and nicer to my fellow man thank to my religion.

10. theres a lot more, but if anyone can see how religion can be poistive for people, read the above for some reasons.......

It's all good mate, but you should know these things without religion forbidding this or that. It all boils down to simple "Do not be an arsehole" life motto. If everyone would treat Common Sense in a same way they treat religion, we would be happy society with common goals ;)

Agreed, i could have lived an assh*le life, in the societies that i grew up in, my religion protected me, kept me away from bad which ill be forever grateful for. Anyways, i think i have said enough in this thread, so ill shut up now, im pretty sure my point is across, stupid minded people will forever be stupid so i give up on them.....

yeah about that, WTF is an 'islamist' anyway??! Is there a Christianist or a Jewist?

I put a definition in my earlier post, but it is basically someone who wants to inflict their harshest interpretation of Islam on other people through political means.

For example, the regimes in Saudi, Iran, Dubai etc are Islamist, as they impose religious laws on people. Although Dubai may seem more liberal, it still enforces cohabitation laws, prohibits public displays of affection etc. Blasphemy laws are one of the worst examples of Islamism.

The reason you don't hear of 'christianists' is because with the exception of a few remote African regions, no one is trying to inflict Christianity on people through rule of law.

It's short for Islamic Fundamentalist.

The Daily Mail can't spell fundamentalist and so Islamist is used instead.

/QUOTE]

Islamism is an ideology, and so an Islamist is a follower of that ideology. Just like a fascist follows fascism, a thatchers follows thatcherism etc Islamist isn't a special case.

Nothing to do with the Daily heil or its readership.

No it's because of the press.

And I was definitely being serious.

i'd suggest the use of the word "literal" rather than Harsh as more applicable

and as for implementation of literal Islam - that would be Saudi & Iran (albeit different sects) - and what Isis are trying to do in Syria.

Dubai is by no means an implementation of literal islam - it is their bastardized version to protect the lavish lifestyle of the 10% emiraties at the expense of the suffering and exploitation of the 90% "aliens".

and yes - it is a political ideology and has always been one.
