adam1983
Maybe a stupid question but thought I would ask to make sure. I am going to be fitting a new manual radiator to my auto supra and will also be fitting a gearbox cooler at the same time. My question is will I need to get some extra trans fluid or will I be able to use what is there when fitting the gearbox cooler? Any directions or advice much appreciated. Inevitably you will lose some when you disconnect your auto rad, that will need to be replaced and the new cooler will have longer pipes to and from it and hopefully will have a higher capacity than the one in the rad, so yes you will need to top up. GSF car parts ATF-U is a considerably cheaper than the Type iv by Mr T and listed as an equivalent.
adam1983
Yeah I thought that would be the case but just making sure as I wasn't sure how much the stock rad could hold. Thanks for the input
