Guest Budz86
Nice spec mate. You considered a main cap brace kit? Starting to wish I'd done it on mine while it was all out, just for peace of mind

Starting to wish I'd done it on mine while it was all out, just for peace of mind /QUOTE] The engine is already build mate, it came with the car when I purchased it. The only thing I'm changing is Cams to SRD stage 2 ones plus of course all the other mods. It's a very strong engine taken from the old 850bhp JPS drag car so it "should" be good for the road

Just ordered 48 litres of ethanol to be delivered to SRD so not too long now before mapping! I know Lee has been sorting diff and fitting fuel system. Need some more pics but I know Lee and team are flat out with Luc' car etc.
pay too play
awesome project mate just a quick question for you , ive got the 6266 gen 2 running 2 bar of boost , my hks la clutch has just starting slipping as i noted earlier there only rated too 700ps ?? i see your going too be running same clutch at more power , am i too assume my clutch is good for the power just needs new friction plates ? thanks matt

Yes I have the HKS twin. To be honest I think I'm at the limit but my rationale is I won't be running max boost ALL the time, will normally run 600rwhp or so for most spirited drives. Steve M is also going with the HKS at 800fwhp. Theoretically it should be able to handle the power but there will be slippage I'm sure. Read too many horror stories on the RPS Carbon strapped clutches.

Sheefa
More updates...... Fuel system and diff now in. Few other polished bits fitted like Water pump cover and billet tensioner arm. Twin pumps vs brand new Walbro 485 pump only fitted in November 2015! Oh and the new Turbo Getting there, so excited now.....
Sheefa
Also decided on a Greddy Intake to make the most of the power.......more dollar but definitely worth getting it done now and it'll finish off the bay nicely. Pic below of it fitted to James Millers car. Plus I like the SRD intake sticker Edited June 2, 2016 by Sheefa (see edit history)
Sheefa
Getting there, turbo in place and intake stripped off. The size of the turbo makes me laugh a little in contrast to the 72mm PHR one I had on there! Size isn't everything though right....... Yes mate let's hope the weather gets better though! You'll love the 6466, you should benefit from it even more with the built engine! Thanks Chris. Really looking forward to the results. Lee has now fitted turbo. I went for crinkle black and everything else will be stay polished, intake, cam covers etc. New oil feed and return made up and fitted too.
