Hey Mike!!!! long time and hope your well....

maybe this would be a little stupid for me to suggest but wouldnt it be better for you to buy a mechanically sound but not so sound exterior mk 2 aristo? take all the parts you need for the project and then later sell all the bits you dont need and get some wonga back? atleast you have a full set of parts that you will need and im sure will save you a decent amount of money.

hey fella, I'm good thanks, great to see you about on this forum again.

It prob would be cheaper but I aint got the time or space TBH. What would be ideal is to just get a supra engine but no one has any at the minute so looks like I'm going to have to do it the hard way like I did with my last one.

the prices that 2jz's are asking now, add in all the little bits extra and its so expensive now it makes me laugh in desperation. have a browse and if you find a cheap one, take it. i saw an aristo go for £3000 last week, mechanically good but knackered body work. thats ideal!

if it does help, i have a mk1 aristo tt loom at home somewhere, is chopped a lil because the aristo was a single. if its of any use let me know, pay the postage, have the loom for free ;)

Thanks anyway fella but I get one with the engine that a may stick on drift works. even if I get a tenner for it its 10 less I have to spend on a supra loom :)
