Power Assisted Steering Fluid

Hi guys-just checked my power assisted steering fluid level and appears to be a little low.

 

What type/brand/spec of fluid is recommended required for the Supra ? (this being a 2002 RZ-S tiptronic).

Dexron III from euro car parts. About £3 for a 1l

Ah no ! I just paid £9.50 for the above at my local motor store - basically its low and there appears to be fluid that's blown back onto the intake area its all wet so thinking I might have a leak somewhere. At least if I top it up I can keep an eye on the level.

The power steering fluid is rarely consumed so your suspicion of a leak is almost certain.

 

It think the return pipe can crack, down near the rack itself the pipes can leak from a joint/ crush washer and in the front bumper central duct the cooler can get a pin hole from corrosion.

i used toyota type iv , had a bit left over from the trans change
