Flan
Installed led bulbs for all my rear lights and front indicators and they're now flashing too fast. Any way to correct this or other options? Cheers
L337
You need to wire in a resistor somehow, the flasher relay relies on a certain resistance from the normal bulbs to give a certain timing, with LED the resistance is far less making the relay flash quicker. Could measure the resistance of the Led bulb in comparison to the old ones and someone more knowledgeable could spec a resistor suitable. supra_ufo
The easiest way is to swap out a FUSE relay that is located in the drivers footwell Wish I had the link for it but worked a treat on mine someone should be along with the link
Ric
This is what i bought here: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3-Pin-12V-Electronic-LED-Car-Flasher-Relay-Unit-Fix-Blinker-Indicator-Globe-/322011443232?hash=item4af960b020 Fixed it straight away and loads simpler than installing resistors everywhere. David P
Easiest way is to leave the stock bulbs alone.
Flan
Cheers Ric I think I'll buy that. Also going to attempt a homemade COB Led rings rear light setup sometime soon as it doesn't seem too difficult and looks great. There's a detailed guide at Supra Forums for anyone interested.
