jza800
Your hopes have odd priorities? Drop the oil into a clean container and inspect it for metal fragments, if okay, you could then re-use it if you're tight. I have done that, no metal fragments of the ordinary,
jza800
Maybe check the belt tensioner pulley, it could be bouncing if the plunger is seized. Witch one, the timing belt or serptine belt ???
Konrad
Timing belt one. Also make sure that cam pulleys are torqued properly as they can cause these exact type of knocking.
Burna
Timing belt one. Also make sure that cam pulleys are torqued properly as they can cause these exact type of knocking. That's the one, it will just bounce and knock if the plunger is seized in its block, as it's not apply any pressure to belt tensioning arm and wheel.
