salaar
One of the bolts which hold the screw in place (passenger front) keeps slipping. It can't take the torque. The driver's side has some movement too but its strong and you can tighten the screw well. Is there any way to stop the other bolt from slipping? I thought about welding it but feel it needs to flex a little as the car is moving? Can the roof be taken apart from the top? Or only the felt can come off? Ric
You can get new bolts for the aerotop roofs if this is what you mean.
salaar
How do you fit them? Its not the bit which you tighten with an Allen key, its the bit it screws into, every time I try tighten it just slips and the screw comes loose Does that make sense? Al Massey
Sounds like it's been cross threaded and you're losing the threads of the nut. Easily replaced

You can get replacements, sounds like you stripped the nuts in the roof. You will need to remove the headlining from the roof section to get to them. salaar
so the nuts are removable and they can be replaced? Excellent news because I thought I may have to change the roof! There is movement in the good nut though, is that normal to allow for flexing of the roof or shall I change both?
