Wazz72
Can anyone help, I had a greedy turbo timer installed on my jspec tt, but when i took it to sextons to have a toad 606i fitted they told me i couldn't have it in conjunction with the alarm, and would hae to take it off. I know there is a way around this, but does anyone mind sharing the information with me? Also has anyone got a picture of a bleed valve fitted to their supra, as i saw the picture in an earlier post hilighted in red, but still cannot work out where it should go.. One other thing does anyone know where to get replacement bulbs for behind the heater control console (grey twist back to them, with a green rubber cap on them.) from or the part number for them, as i ordered some from a toyota dealer and they were the wrong type.. Thanks
Bob
I've got the a606i installed on mine (think it's that model anyway!), receipts show it was also installed by Sexton's. Looking at the iginition wires, they basically did a hell of a bad cut-n-shut job on the wires, chopping them left right and centre However, I've got the GReddy turbo timer installed no probs, very easy with the right harness. The only problem being that you have to wait for the engine to turn off before you set the alarm, which could be what they're on about. Doesn't matter to me though, I just wanted the turbo timer as a.) an indication of how long to let it idle (and then add a minute just to be sure! ), and b.) a pretty looking gadget
edd_t
I just had a Toad Ai606 fitted, the guy said there was no probs fitting it with a turbo timer! He was gonna do it to mine aswell, but I asked him to remove my timer because it was originally fitted by a monkey!
zap
We just had a Blitz Turbo Timer fitted by Trac-art. Same problem with waiting for engine to stop before setting alarm. No big deal - Zecca (Trac-art) says that fitting a relay in line cures this problem. Waiting for ours! A point to mention is that turbo timers interfere with automatic headlight turn-off, so don't leave them on!!!
Soonto_HAS_soop
My clifford works with my Blitz turbo timer no problem, I'm not sure how Matt H wired it up, but I can arm it with it still running.
