Dan H
Firstly a rare sight..a red Toyota 2000GT with 2000 in the registration and 2 letters afterwards pulling off the hard shoulder of the M1 on the way upto Newark on Friday. Absolutely stunning I had just about enough time to get my camera out and get some distant shots from the back seat as we passed it ! :0 Secondly a yellow MK4 Supra heading North up the M5 near Bristol yesterday around 5 I think it was. j_jza80
The 2000 looks tiny I bet most people who saw it had no idea what t was, or that is was potentially worth upwards of £500k

Rarity I suppose, wikipedia says only 351 were built.
j_jza80
Its the first truly exotic car that Japan produced, and probably the only one until the Lexus LFA was released. It's also incredibly good looking, and as you say, rare. The release of the LFA would have given the 2000gt a lot of publicity too, and the joint development between Toyota and Yamaha on the 2000GT was mirrored for the LFA.
