Guest Kashegan
The pressurised arms that keep the rear door open have lost their charge. I suspect that it is not possible to recharge them and will need to fit replacements. My problem is i can't find any, probably due to not having the correct technical name for them. can anyone provide the technical name, a part number and a possible supplier? Much appreciated. mellonman
Also the rear door is known as a boot or tail gate
Style
Completely off topic but can I ask if there is any story behind your username Kashegan? It's just that it's the same name as an oil field I'm doing some work on just now
MATT RR
You can send the struts to SGS Engineering by post, they will re-gas them for you
Guest Kashegan
Thanks for that. That's nice to know, as I haven't been able to find exact size replacements so far, very close in dimensions but not exact. - - - Updated - - - I worked on the Kashegan field in 2002, hence the name!
