Pioneer AVH-X2800BT Double Din Install

So after owning the car a couple of weeks now, I carried out my first proper mod: upgrading the head unit!

The old head unit was very dated single DIN Pioneer with a fold out screen, with no EQ so the sound was horrible.

 

I opted for the Pioneer AVH-X2800BT which has tons of features and is works really well when paired with smartphones. The install was really easy, fitted straight in to the surround which was already installed

 

I mounted the mic for hands free behind the boost controller on the steering shroud and run the ipod cable to the glovebox, nice and hidden.

 

 

I would recomend this to other members, really helps brings the cockpit up to date and with the EQ settings sounds awesome!
