Spitfire flight

I always thought you couldn't pay for a flight in a Spitfire as it is still classed by the CAA as a fighter and not a passenger aircraft.

No doubt you pay a fee and become a trustee of the aircraft and are therefore entitled to privileges? ?

In any event I'm jelous and would love to fly in one of these , a Dehavilland Mosquito or a Lancaster.

That'll be brilliant Dunk, I think you should have a go as well;)

I've got a flight lined up for our trip to Florida next year with these http://www.warbirdadventures.com/ You get to do the cuban 8's etc yourself if you're upto it.

Fingers crossed I will be:D

I'm also seroiusly considering this 18,000ft tandem skydive, 1 min 30 seconds of free fall:cool: just not sure if I've got the balls for it yet:D

Hope its a great day, have some fond memories of Biggin Hill, as I used to live just down the road at Leaves Green, which is literally at the end of the runway, spent many a childhood day sat at the end of the runway watching various planes, especially practice runs for the many air shows that used to be staged there.

Was a great day at Biggin Hill, well worth going just to walk around the hanger and chat to the guys that work there.

I'll post up some photos later when I get them off the camera and some video footage hopefully including a Victory roll
