Glanza_Mike
Hi guys, Just removed this from my car last night, Defi boost gauge which illuminates white with red needle as shown in pic. Comes with everything needed to install and all in good working condition, i have used the features on the control unit recently and can confirm they all work well. It had the standard silver ring that goes around the outer part of the gauge but i sprayed it black to blend in with my dash better. There are a few minor scratches but nothing you'd really notice when the gauge is installed. I've had a check on Ebay to see what it's worth and I've priced this below any of them for forum members before i post for more on Ebay myself. So SOLD delivered or collection from Hall Green, Birmingham is also fine. Thanks.
Glanza_Mike
Does everyone think this pricing is reasonable? Seems good compared to Ebay prices, where the gauge is £172 on it's own :O
Guest Drew
Defi have bought out new gauges since the BF series you have, including the newer advanced series which none of the gauges, Hud or controller are compatable with any BF gauges, or controller which is just a way to make more money out of people imo. I bought a blue backed BF fuel pressure,(they come in white, amber and blue back lit) off here actually to finish off the set of 5 gauges,(7 if you want rpm and/or vacume) in my jzx100. I gave £45 for it. I'd say £40-£50 for the gauge, maybe a little more as its 2bar instead of the 1.5bar they do and boost is always more saleable as its one of the first gauges people want/should have in a turbo car, and £50-£60 for the controller. As with all the Defi gauges, which ever gauges someone wants to use they need to be wired through the controller. The price you are asking is by no mean over priced as these gauges were a fortune to buy new, and still fetch really good money when in sets of 3 or 5 gauges. It just seemed to me over time, as I searched for the gauges to complete my set in me chaser, they came down in price a lot, I think partly because Defi bought out new style gauges, and more than anything cheap crappy Chinese copy's came out that were a lot cheaper and people chose shitty fake sweeping gauges over the top notch quality Defi stuff and the price suffered. I've found the Defi's are top notch quality that give bang on readings. And they're worth the money for the start up sequence alone!!! Just my thoughts, hope it helps
