Mamos95
I've spoken to at least 15 people on my problem and haven't come to a conclusion. Swapped my engine as I had bottom end knock and now it won't start. I have fuel going through the fuel rail but power isn't getting to the injectors. I've done a continuity test and everything is fine and I traced the wires back to the ECU plugs. I have a spark and the engine cranks over fine. Please help. Chris Wilson
Is there perfect continuity between the various ECU grounds and the engine block? Does the engine fault warning light operate as it should with key on, engine off? Have you any fault codes? Does it run if you spray Easi Start into the intake? Shane
Did you check out the things I suggested in this thread: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?332662-Injectors-won-t-prime Having experienced almost this exact fault previously on my wifes car, I would be checking the ground pin of the MAP sensor first of all, if anything other than zero then its an earth issue and likely to the be double tagged one shown in the photo. Moisten a wrag with a little fuel and hold it over the intake while cranking if you don't have any easy start.
Chris Wilson
You also need to tell us whether it's a TT or an N/A, year, what have you. And as Shane says,m unless you tell us what you have done, exactly, it's impossible to narrow it down. Do you understand how the injectors work? 12V + should be on one pin of all six injectors, all the time the ignition is on. the ECU then grounds the other pin of the injectors in sequence. They then fire in sequence. Is that 12V + present all the time the ignition is on?

Based on previous posts it's an NA Chris, this is why I think there is every chance the famous earth cable has been tucked out of sight when the engine was out.
