Green Peace
I Loved the Prodigy in their hay day...(early Nineties) but bought one of their new albums last September..and their stuff hasn't really moved on much.... Infact i bought it as driving music on a trip to the South Of France..I drove through the night and needed something to keep me awake....kept me awake alright...gave me a bleeding headache.. Am I getting Old? (Did Some real good gigs at Glastonbury when I was there last..wicked)
SupraStar 3000
yep, kinda understand what your saying, although I love all the current stuff aswell. My personal fav. BREAK and ENTER but from the current album, SPITFIRE ,...OMG!! How good is that! The LIVE stuff is on a completely different planet!
AMG
Prodigy rule!!! Latest stuff takes a few listens but still better than a lot of stuff around now.
Pete
Thanks for that! Really enjoyed listening to that. I have tickets sat next to me here to see them Fri 25th Nov :D Can't wait! I saw them in Wolves after the Fat of the Land album - absolutely brilliant!
SkyJawa
Fat of the Land rocked New one = pish
Pete
Fat of the Land rocked New one = pish I thought that at first, but kept on at it. Now quite like *most* tracks. The Way It Is - that's the winner for me. The Thriller sample is great. You just have to come to the conclusion that most good artists want to try to reinvent themselves, and there'll always be those special albums that for you define that band. It's like Orbital. I loved all their material, but the brown album was fantastic - the one. Chemical Brothers - The second album (forgot the name) Underworld - Beaucoup Fish and so on... Mike
I love the new one... agreed it takes a few listens, but 'Girls', Spitfire' and 'The way it is'... absolute classics.... one of the most underrated albums ever I think....! Is anyone else having trouble posting with the enhanced thread reply thingy..? had to use the basic one.... and make my own smilies

Homer
Out of Space Top tune IMO Music for the jilted generation was their best album - No Good (start the dance), Break & enter, Voodoo people, Skylined, One Love, etc Followed by The prodigy experience and Fat of the land Still love 'Death of the prodigy dancers' , if only for the vocal rift! Then again I like happy hardcore...
