Mamos95
Depends how quickly you want it gone and how much someone is willing to pay. They go from £300 to £700 and around £1500 for the full conversion kit. One sold two weeks ago for £380 on eBay. Sent from my iPhone
mc92
Good question, I have a spare w58 too. I think 300-500 for a good box on its own is reasonable but it depends on the mileage. Obviously with the supporting parts it'll be a bit more.
Jam127
Yeah iv just been told the conversions go for around £1200 but that's obviously the box, clutch, flywheel, prop, shafts?, pedal set up?, mast cylinder?, diff not sure what else lol
stevie_b
I'm in the market for a W58 box (just the box). The synchros on mine are worn and I either want to replace the box or refurb my current box. If you've got a box for sale and I can be assured it's in VGC, I'll be happy to arrange a deal.

DodgyRog
It was me that said the £1200 price, that is what I sold mine for, with a Torsen Diff, it also had an uprated clutch http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?331297-W58-Conversion-with-a-Spec-3-clutch-Torsen-Diff-and-everything-for-conversion
stevie_b
When looking at sold prices on ebay, note that not all W58 boxes are the same. The ones out of mkIII supras for example are a little bit different to those from mkIV supras. Both will fit fine, but a few of the internal parts are a different grade. I *think* the mkIV ones are a little bit stronger, but I don't know that for sure.
