simon197911
Came from a running car. There's been lots of talk about these on here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?331559-Anyone-tried-one-of-the-link-ECU-s/page10 Jamie's G2 sold for £500 here: http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?331476-Link-stand-alone-ecu&highlight=link The G4 has even more features, drive by wire, knock control, fully sequential spark and injection etc. There's a lot of support in the uk for these, and most reputable places will map them too. These are a really good alternative to the Syvecs for people not wanting to spend £3k+. £850 Spec below: Designed and built to be the best, the Xtreme delivers the results, with more functions than normally demanded by both tuner and driver: Hardware Eight saturated injection drives, eight ignition outputs, 11 analog volt inputs, 10 digital inputs, 10 auxiliary outputs * Four temperature inputs Two, thirty four pin, waterproof connectors External, 2.5, 3, 4 or 7 bar, MAP sensor (sold separately) CAN / RS232 port Software - PCLink Fast tuning with keyboard driven commands Six hundred pages of help on "right-click" Powerful logging analysis built into PCLink Tabbed, user configurable layout G4Plus Xtreme Key Features The following list details why the G4Plus ECUs are so great, but if you talk to someone with a G4 or G4Plus system they love the powerful, smooth total experience : OBDII%20APP Super smooth triggering for rock solid ignition timing thanks to the precision automotive microprocessor Lamda and AFR tuning options - switchable as per user preference OBD2 data stream by firmware upgrade Connect up a blue-tooth or wifi adapter (available from your Link dealer, or e-bay etc). Nodalmighty
Given these were twice this price when they were current, someone is going to get a bargain. Do the connectors, the map sensor and the comms cable come with it?
supra_ufo
does this ECU have the ability to control torque between gear changes on a automatic?
Nodalmighty
No. Never found a need to to be honest. Done loads, most at least approching 500lbs/ft, never broke one, it's a myth IMHO. Use quality (and correct) fluid, change it regular (and the filter) and keep the fluid from over heating / burning. Getting the NA valve body into TT boxes to run on the TT so that Dave P can work his magic and wide the box up to 11 seems to be the new want I get asked alot. For this reason I have begun work on a simple mappable NA 3 solenoid shift controller to work with Link so I can get rid of the stock ecu on Autos altogether. fastcar
Out of interest are these capable of running a twin fuel rail? With 12 injectors?
simon197911
Comes with a 3 bar map sensor. Yes the connectors come with it, trying to find the comms cable, if it doesn't show up i will knock the price of a replacement off of the total.
