Like I say, I'm no expert so I end up sideways quite a bit, which is good fun but quite often scary as well! I do love Goodwood though, its a great track for the Supra, really fast. Need4Speed
Mark - Treat Goodwood with respect. Even UK brakes aren't up to the job. Try braking into Woodcote from about 135 and leave it until after the kink.

If so, then I HAVE tried braking there from 130+, hence the number of sideways moments I've had there!! The bit that scares me is (sorry I don't know the names) the right-left bit just before the long right-hander over the back corner (if that makes sense!), as the camber of the track causes some mad weight-shifting, scares the crap out of me every time! I'm sure I push the car beyond my ability, but then you never learn what the limits are if you don't try to reach them!!
Need4Speed
the right-left bit just before the long right-hander over the back corner Mark - That's St Mary's; use plenty of kerb on the left hander (at the apex).

Frank
I have a 1997 manual TT two years now and it always clunked changing to second when cold,I had a 5 speed N/A before and the gear change was much smoother and more positive but then it only had 220hp to handle. I agree with what other members claim it`s a bit agricultural but strong. It sounds like a rare car VVTI and Manual. Good Luck with it. Frank. Duncan
Cheers man. Update: It's still just the same and not getting any worse so I'm almost certain that it's normal. So my advice to anyone else worrying about this is - don't.
