Jellybean
Can the OEM fuel setup run Ethanol and Flexifuel Sensor (Modern ECU) or do components need to be swapped out? Flexifuel Sensor looks after the mixture but is it an issue to have X % of ethanol sitting in your tank? Where do you guys get Ethanol? Still yet to find a source here in Ireland
Style
You'll need aftermarket lines as the OEM ones corrode with ethanol iirc. Teflon lines are the best bet as they eliminate the smell quite well. Hodge can sort you out with what you need
drift_bear
You will need bigger injectors, compatible fuel pump and Teflon lines from the top of my head, I'll go through my paperwork from SRD and see what else has been changed
Jellybean
Thanks , taught as much! Will give it a miss and leave it for next stage
Guest Budz86
Injector o rings too, but they should be included with the ethanol compatible ones. Lines, fittings, fuel pressure reg and pumps. Probably need to change the fuel rail too if you're doing that lot. Certainly not a cheap exercise, but we'll worth it!
Jellybean
Thanks! Will look into it again when I need a beefed up fuel setup , expense would not warrant it for BPU
Guest Budz86
I wouldn't worry about it for bpu; turbos are at their limit and lot of expenses for a little bit of improved throttle response. Cams would be a better choice
