Guest PMc666
Hi all, Wonder if any of you can help me? Since i bought my supra - 1997 tt manuel 6speed - it has had a clonking noise that comes from the gearbox prop shaft area. It has also had a slight vibration (the faster you go, the worse it gets) not rpm related. Now ive had the car for over half a year the clonking (that i thought was natural for the 6speed) is DEFinately worse. The vibration is also alot worse. I ended up placing a camera to see exactly where this clonking is coming from [diff, gearbox, propshaft] I placed it at the gearbox/propshaft join and this sounds like where it is coming from. I'll figure out how to post my video [basically just noise, no video] And hopefully some people can enlighten me? Thanks in advance folks Paul
Guest PMc666
Clonking. 0-13 seconds in reverse, on and off throttle. 13 seconds onwards is in first gear, on and off throttle. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zcJz_yY2h0I&feature=youtu.be
Annabella
Hi and welcome. Why don't you sign up and join, only a tenner, and opens up a wealth of supra info, and access to supra geeks
