Scooter
Ok '12' error message on an na. There are 3 diagnostic things before the advice is "replace the ecu" Two if failed state replace distributor, as you've done that then it just leaves the other which is, "checking for open and short in harness and connector between ecu and distributor". v6shep
regardless of the fault code 12... So, mate popped over, hooked battery back up, loosened dizzy to be able to adjust it. Started first go, stopped it a couple of times to make sure would start each time. It did. I went a mile up the road, fine, turned around to come back... Snuffed it. Every time I tried to start it, started for a full second and snuffed it again. Pulled fuel pump out while left stuck in the sticks, fuel pump works. Took lead off my brand new coil, earthed it... Meager spark few and far between... Needless to say, not started since
v6shep
Just wondering, when I broke down, there where odd times it fired up and died the same second. Would anyone think my clifford could be immobilising my ignition?
Konrad
Normally immobilizer would not allow car to crank at all
