evinX
So as im driving along and come to a stop i get a squealing sound under the car, near the gearbox/ cat area, id say its very much like a belt squeal but as i open the door i can hear its under the car, dont think the exhaust/sheilds would make such a noise. Only as i come to a stop and idle it squeals, the O/D is flashing so today im going to do the pink wire mod and see it that sorts anything...wrong info being sent, and the gearbox is doing something funny etc. Apart from that, any ideas? thanks, Kev
gdog1989
mine done that sounds like the same issue turned out the tensioner pulley is in need of changing on mine, I took the belt off and removed the pulley and cleaned it up and re greased it and been fine for few months, try that and if it works ideally replace it
Scooter
Definitely try it without the aux belt for a bit. Start it with belt if it squeals stop it, remove aux belt restart, if it's gone you know it's something on the belt run.

evinX
But if i start it on the drive and leave it for no matter how long theres no noise from the pulleys, all look inline with no wobbles. But if i go for a drive, usually in the cold, night and early morning, coming to a stop at lights it squeals :/

Mike2JZ
Try going full lock on steering and see if you get a squeal. I had similar symptoms when my crank pulley was on it's last legs.
