ellis
I get the same - just ignore them and delete, not much else to do really.

MATT RR
What email service do you use? I use gmail and it is superb at filtering spam so i never get it, i just pop in the spam folder every few months to press delete on it all. Maybe there are some settings you can play with through your email provider?

Graham1984
If it's totally spam email don't even look at it and just move to junk, then block the address.
Kendo11
As above, move to junk & block. It's just one of the downsides of email unfortunately
peter richards
ok thank you , i delete it ,sends it to deleted items , how then do i block it. ok found it ill try that from now on see if it helps
Kendo11
Select the little tick box to the left of the message, then there should be an option at the top next to move, reply etc that says block.
peter richards
i just tried it , right click it gives me the junk option and block

Attero
Trick is, don't publicise your email address anywhere for anyone. Bots capture email addresses from web pages, store them and distribute them across spamming agents. You then get pummelled with nigerians offering millions of pounds in response for a small investment in their awesome startup. The only pound you'll be getting is where the sun don't shine. I had a spam problem with a really old email of mine. Deleted the account, started fresh and have never had spam ever again. Since you are too far gone, you can do the following: - block email addresses - report as spam - get a spam filtering service set up - set up outlook rules to chuck emails with certain keywords straight into the spam folder. Better yet, if you are not using a cloud email service already (I.e. Gmail, hotmail, etc), open up an Office 365 subscription and move to their services. Their spam filtering is pretty epic, like Gmail. As previously said, never open an email you are certain is spam. Any images loaded in the email will identify your address as valid and will continue to spam you forever.
