rider
The switching on and off would reset the traction control so that's all it probably needed.

JohnHorner
My Slip Control Light was on after having fitted a New Baattery nearly 3 months ago: it hasnt been anywhere since, other than on the drive. Today a totally 'flat' battery as its not been driven. Anyway after jump starting it I drove it for some 14 miles but the Slip Control Light stayed flashing. I read this thread on the forum and realised that I didnt turn the ignition off, nor did I try reversing the car. Now been out and restarted the car, Success! No more Slip Cntrl Light flashing and everything is in order. Must be down to restarting the ignition to reset the system. Thanks Members for this tip!.
