Jellybean
Out of curiosity is anybody running the AEM? Might be a few members running it for a while now, do you recommend it
mellonman
Gpro is running one but swiftly got mkivsupra.neted for posting about it as it looked to be a sales thing
Noz
That's the route I'm taking in the next month or two. Lots of decent hardware upgrades from the series 2. Loving the can bus BTi gauge which is much like the toucan for the syvecs. That's the route I'm going. I believe a custom loom is currently required. I'm NA-try though so GTE might be okay. I wish there was a 52mm syvecs gauge setup. I don't really want a big 'ol toucan on my dash, but as I want the info available I may be forced into it! I don't really want a big 'ol toucan on my dash, but as I want the info available I may be forced into it! I thought the same, but honestly the Toucan is much smaller than you expect. I've managed to integrate mine well into the dash Much more oem looking than gauges

Usually they look a right eye sore.

Regarding mods getting funny, this is the first time I'm hearing this Funny how it sounded like a sales pitch, as I never offered or tried to sell one. My career isn't in cars or ECU's. Jellybean
How you finding it GPro , Did I read on Supra Forums members had an issue when it was launched with Idle on cold start up bit I think it was since fixed with a firmware update Just reading up about it I think it just needs a Map sensor and the Fuel / Oil pressure are extra's for the fail safes , maybe a Bosch LSU What did you get in the kit? ECU and Mkiv Loom? I dont think it will control the stock twin sequential turbos , I will need to go TTC
Gpro
How you finding it GPro , Did I read on Supra Forums members had an issue when it was launched with Idle on cold start up bit I think it was since fixed with a firmware update Just reading up about it I think it just needs a Map sensor and the Fuel / Oil pressure are extra's for the fail safes , maybe a Bosch LSU What did you get in the kit? ECU and Mkiv Loom? I dont think it will control the stock twin sequential turbos , I will need to go TTC My kit came with Mkiv PnP harness, map sensor, fuel pressure sensor, boost solenoid, air intake temp sensor, 12 position switch and wideband sensor. At a minimum you would need the wideband/Bosch sensor, the ECU can work with your stock map sensor. Fuel pressure is optional, but highly recommended for accurate close loop. Latest firmware seems to be stable, as far as I'm aware. This is the package I got. http://fsrmotorsports.com/component/virtuemart/?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=19&category_id=20&Itemid=87 but, this cheaper package should be fine for most users. http://fsrmotorsports.com/index.php?page=shop.product_details&flypage=flypage.tpl&product_id=257&category_id=20&Itemid=87&vmcchk=1&option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=87 Edited March 26, 2016 by Gpro (see edit history)
Jellybean
Thanks , the ECU did catch my eye when it was launched but it does not seem to be popular here across the board in the EU for some reason , few skylines etc run them Spec wise it does seem to be great value , is there any cool apps, software , gadgets you can use with it? Noz
Few videos on YouTube of them testing the safety features.
Justin Bieber
Spec wise it does seem to be great value , is there any cool apps, software , gadgets you can use with it? If i had an AEM Infinity i'd use the video converter from gauge art to display all the gauges on my headunit, its a shame they don't support syvecs. http://www.supraforums.com/forum/showthread.php?824489-GaugeART-Review
bignum
Its all about if you can get a decent mapper to work on it, also don`t believe any of this self mapping bullshit.

Wez
If the AEM gauge is CAN based it could prob be made to work with a Syvecs EDIT: same goes for the gaugeArt
Jellybean
Those gauge art gauges do look nice! But a little bit gimmicky I do like an analogue mechanical gauge , maybe I am getting old
