a98pmalcolm
Hey all. I'm getting some paint work done with changes to the boot. I will be deleting my rear wash jet as my new windscreen wash tank is a single and rear once just make a mess, but I am also going to delete the 3rd brake light and smooth off were the Toyota badge was. (plus more blueness to the engine bay area ) I have seen this on another blue supra with face lift rears, TRD wind and trial bumper like mine and it looked great. But keeping the rear wiper a I like to wiper the water off so I can see out the rear screen. Wondered what other people thought of this. Westy
Remove the wiper at the same time. It'll ruin the look IMO. I removed everything on my black car and never had any issue with water on the rear screen obscuring my view
MattP
I like having the rear wiper and washer not that it ever gets used but I see what you two like about removing them. I can't see any issue with removing them hell BMW Audi and Merc don't even fit them on there coupe/saloons.

How did your insurance react when you told them you'd got rid of the brake light?
The Raven
How did your insurance react when you told them you'd got rid of the brake light? Early UK spec cars didnt even have a working light, it was illegal in this country at the time. So at a guess i would think they wont give a toss. If it passes its MOT and has working Brake lights. Worth an ask to be sure but i dont see it as a problem.
The Raven
Mine with no rear wiper or jet........smooth. Yes it does get annoying when water collects, and yes it gets dirty...but my window tints are so dark the use of the back window is more or less useless anyway
Rob W
How did your insurance react when you told them you'd got rid of the brake light? You still have 4 working brake lights with 2 when the fogs are on, passes MOT's fine. Early UK spec cars didnt even have a working light, it was illegal in this country at the time. So at a guess i would think they wont give a toss. If it passes its MOT and has working Brake lights. Worth an ask to be sure but i dont see it as a problem. I never knew that, on our uk spec car the 3rd light works but with only 2 brake lights and the other 2 only come on for the fogs.

Kendo11
Yeah ditch the washer jet and wiper, same thing I'm doing on mine. I'm keeping the badge and light though, otherwise I think it looks a little plain.
