Dnk
Called the place where I had my Racing dynamics checked for trueness to get a price on a pair of 245 x 35 x 18's £152 each if I buy direct and £112 each if I buy through Black circles, both inc vat and fitting
Ric
Internet, overheads, margins, etc etc. It's not unusual for the internet to be cheaper on most things although the fitting aspect may not be at your chosen garage.

Same garage for both prices hence my post

Dnk
interesting then, why would you buy direct, heh. Exactly my point, The guy there offered me some Pirelli part worns yesterday off his mates car but they're the wrong profile so i'll get new, during my call to him this morning he priced up some new tyres for me which sounded a bit dear, I checked on BC and got the price above and fitted at the same garage
cered
Count your blessings, my local fitter who I think well of now only stock Hankooks "Hello, could you get me a price on 245/40/18s - Ideally Goodyear F1s" - *sucks air in through teeth* "Not in stock but we do have Hankooks in that size, they'll be just as good..." *Sound of a twin-turbo straight 6 bellowing into the distance before he finishes his sentence*
Burna
Try TyreLeader Dnk, no one can beat them
Dnk
Yes used tyreleader before but never used the fitting services before, they don't list the places i'd prefer to use. Too many donkeys round here in tyre shops, Black circles list two places I've used before who are in the short list of the few who I let loose on my car these days. They're getting back to me if they can match tyreleaders price at the minute but not fussed for a few ££'S more to get someone that does it correctly, they're £10 more at the moment so not a problem
Burna
You just order the tyres you want from TyreLeader and get them fitted whereever you want. I don't understand why you want to pick fitting through TyreLeader :/
Dnk
You go in places round here having bought the tyres online and you get shafted on fitting cost, or they are too busy to fit you in, much simpler to book it all online job done for a known price and fitted at a pre arranged time and date I think I've found a place with tyreleader now that's got a decent rep and is only 4 miles away, £5 fitting charge per tyre including balancing and disposal of the old tyre
