ChrisH
I've had this HKS Hi Power cat back exhaust hanging around awhile, its off my NA but it looks like 3 inch pipework (think it came from a TT before). As I did the Marsden March the other weekend, raising money for Cancer Research, I thought I'd sell it and whatever I get goes in the pot. Was hoping for £150, but as its not in great nick then maybe £100 - £120? Collection from Sutton Surrey (15 mins junction 8 or 10, M25) Cheers Chris
cainhead
Hello mate, is there any holes/cracks in the back box, or any work needed. Cheers
Pete
Could I be so bold as to suggest sending proceeds to a local hospice? Cancer research get so much money and having had recent first hand experience of my father in law dying at the hospice, I'm championing these places for people to donate to above the big cancer charities. Their support was invaluable to him and us. I feel the money makes a real visible difference to peoples lives and they rely so much on donations to survive. Guest ChrisXNemisis
I'm interested in this if it's still up for grabs.
ChrisH
It was all OK when I took it off, just checked it and it all looks OK - just a bit of surface rust in places as you would expect. Anyone wants to send me their email I can send some more pics
ChrisH
Hi Pete Sorry to hear about your Father in Law, and I don't disagree with what you are saying. I know people who work in medical research and they say something similar - they can only dream of getting a fraction of what the big cancer charities get. However, I don't know anyone who doesn't have a friend or relative affected by cancer either.
Pete
I know people who work in medical research and they say something similar . I think what swayed it for me is my cousin has worked for a few big charities. Alzheimer's and I forget the other - household name anyway. They spend crazy money on fancy London offices, high paid staff/directors and waste money on dumb things. It drove her so crazy she just had to leave the industry. It's always stuck in my mind that so little of my actual donation goes to the actual cause.
