SupraSymz
hold on mate, will pop out to the garage with my vernier caliper right now (perks of having the engine on a bench waiting to go back in!)
SupraSymz
okay, The steel pipes you're connecting to have an external diameter of 17mm. The internal diameter of my rubber pipes that are going to be pushed on there are 16mm - clearly the rubber strecthes slightly! Hope that helps mate. Take it easy, Simon
TLicense
i want to change the heater pipes that go from the haed to the heater matrix at the back of the engine to samco ones but need to know the dia. can any one help? Tread carefully when removing them mate. It would be all to easy to split the heater matrix with excessive tube wiggling whilst trying to get those pipes off, resulting in a >£1K bill and a pissed off girlfriend. Believe me I've been there when I had my Celica. Bloody airlock in the heater matrix..... grrrrr.
