Chris Wilson
The dipstick was a truly wonderful invention, but some joker always thinks a more technical approach is needed. Are there not USA companies who will buy on your behalf and forward to the UK at a more modest carriage rate?
Dnk
No idea Chris. I personally wouldn't bother with it if i was keeping the car but it's sold to a local guy, it's literally just started playing up the day after he came to view it, its bought on proviso that it goes through the mot at 16.30 this afternoon so fingers crossed it goes through that ok

Dnk
I still prefer the good old dipstick ^^ That sounds iffy when I say it out loud :/ Agreed but seeing as i'm selling the car and have a buyer on it i'd like it to be working as it should I shall replace this sensor tomorrow and do an oil and filter change at the same time, i'm £150 worse off but I've still got a good price for the car. Just messaged the buyer and he's made up im doing the sensor and oil change, car passed the mot as well so lifes not so bad now

Dnk
It probably costs a tenner to manufacture More than likely. My woes continue, this car is beginning to pee me off now, got a warning light on the dash pop up and after plugging my pals autologic into the car its coming up with an abs pressure sensor problem. Apparently these are silly money too and there's two of them, FFS
