Rev limit at 5500rpm?

Just got engine all run in and running smooth, low boost at 0.8 bar it pulls strong and is fine,

Hight boost, around 1.1 bar, it stumbles bang on 5500 and won't push past, it gets weird when I put it into neutral after this and rev it, it hits 5500 and bounces off it like a factory limiter,

I have to drive it a bit cruising before it will rev freely up to 7k.

I'd have thought plugs or plug gap but the fact it does it in neutral.

Other thing is it doesn't seem to be hitting fuel cut, I can push upto 4.45v on the maf sensor at 1.1ish bar and it only does the weird rev limit. Doesn't hit the wall, tries clamping it at 4.3, no difference

Spec is

1994 ECU & Rebuilt engine, 0.5mm over one because of previous det issues.

Full J-spec auto on hybrids running an AEM FIC piggyback

UK injectors and only setting in piggy back is -20% on fuel table to account for injectors

The piggyback has no setting for a lower rev limit

Update after trying everything everyone suggested....

Yes the auto supra has a 5500rpm limiter when stopped and the gear is in Park/Neutral

My issue I think was simply weak old s*** coil packs and was just coincidence that it misfired bang on 5500

My 6spd supra has a Rev Limit at 5500rpm when the Car is im neutral or standing. I think its a safety System by toyota.

But when you are drivin and can not rev past 5500 up then Check your sparkplugs, Coil or Coilpack Connectors!! I have had the same Problem and IT was the Connectors.

Bought some New ones and all fine :-)
