AndyJax
Anyone tried this, basically fiddling about with sparkplugs so that when they re tightened up the side electrode isn't shielding the centre electrode from the inlet charge. This is done apparently by marking the sparkplug insulator with the position of the side electrode so you can see its position when screwed in the cylinder head. Then by trial or error using other plugs or shims so you have the centre electrode facing the inlet valve unobstructed by the ground electrode. I've thought about doing this whilst I'm replacing my N/A rocker cover gaskets which are leaking. Does it actually make a noticeable difference in performance or is it just snake oil ?
