gordy.r
It's a car that's never really crossed my radar, but whilst sitting in work and having a spare five minutes to tinterweb I found myself looking at these on Autotrader. Anyone have any experience?
Scooter
There is an ex Supra owner on here, his username escapes me at the minute..
JasonR24
It's Peter P who has one but can't find the thread with pictures of his car, think it's the one with the 8 speed SRD build Edited March 9, 2016 by JasonR24 (see edit history)

Samurai 20V
Drove one, its a capable car.. Revs very quick for a big V8..Brakes are 6 pot Brembo, stops very well.. Ride is slightly harsh, gearbox is fun, lots of gearchanges with the 8 speed. I have 2 friends with high mileage examples (over 100000kms), both have had no issues with them, with the exception of a failed fuel pressure sensor. One of them has headers and a Borla exhaust, it sounds demonic.. Brake pads and discs are about the only consumable other than service items, can be pricey. Car has lifelong gearbox oil, diff oil requires frenquent changes. Good car overall..
j_jza80
The guys that use the SRT Brembo brake conversions on Supras use IS-F Brembo discs, they're really cheap for what they are (just over £200 a pair in the uk iirc)

Swampy442
People compare them to the V8 M5s, not as dynamically capable but huge fun, make sure you go for a blue badge car because that got the LSD as standard.
gordy.r
Some good info there, cheers guys, didn't realise that about the blue badge either
Swampy442
The 2010 onward cars had an LSD as standard, they are the most desirable cars. I know this because I was looking at getting one myself lol. But for the same money you could get the Jag XF-R which is a far nicer car IMO, and with nearly 100 more hp

Swampy442
However Im sure if you kept an IS-F for a year or 2, you could sell it for more than you paid
