2soops
Hi all, Have a set of Lexus GS300 Sport wheels and looking on the back, 3 are stamped Borbet and the other is stamped Aatec or Antec, unsure, see photo. Can anyone shed any light on this as I can't find anything related to either of these names on google. I assume it's a replica or made under license but just don't know. If anyone has any info it would be greatly appreciated, thanks

2soops
Sorry guys I may have worded that badly. I know Borbet made the TTE wheel but when I said I couldn't find any info on either of the names I meant the Aatec on Antec I can only assume they made a replica but can't find any info on them. Was just wondering if there connected with Borbet or anything like that as the wheels are absolutely identical apart from the name stamp

GreaseMonkey
On my Diamond cut TTE rims, I purchased brand new in 2006, from my old Lexus dealer I used to work at, are Marked/ branded/ made by German Wheel manufacturer Artec, (as at the time had noticed earlier rims showing the Borbet Logo) the brand Artec also shown on TTE Toyota TUV Certificate paperwork that was in each box with the wheels, suspect possible change in Wheel supplier during production or had both incase of quality control issues? by Toyota & Lexus. Have noticed on some Other Toyota TTE Accessory Alloys the Artec logo/ brand on as well. http://www.ityre.com/en/disks/catalog/artec/ http://www.superstreetonline.com/how-to/aftermarket-parts/eurp-0303-artec-wheels/ Edited March 7, 2016 by GreaseMonkey (see edit history)
