Big Mark
My car came with a Toad Ai606 (i think that's the model) and no issues. I had to get it certified when I got the car for the insurance company and used http://cedsalarms.com/ in Birmingham. Seemed to know their stuff so might be worth speaking to them. I'm tempted to add remote boot release onto it at some point.

ashloys
I got my alarm fitted a year ago, and the guy I use who has 20 years experience said the Toad Ai606 was crap and highly recommended the Clifford 650 MK2 which I've been using for a year. I'd recommend it, the features on it are brilliant and comes standard with proximity sensors.

Another one here for the Clifford 650, but if you don't park your Supra on the driveway the proximity sensors can be annoying.
ashloys
I'm sure you could fit it with them disabled if that's the case! You can also change the sensitivity on them too.
