gavin.starr
Two weeks ago I took down my cctv to relocate the cameras to better locations. The cameras themselves obviously arent the best and have there own built in IR lighting. Seeing as my car got broken ito again lastnight i need to get it all back up and running again to catch the little shits. Im looking into getting a IR flood light that comes on when it goes dark to give a bit more night time assistance to my cameras. Does any one know of any IR flood lights that come on and stay on when it goes dark until it comes light again in the morning. I may be looking for the wrong thing as i havent managed to find anything as of yet. Any help would be great. Gav

Tsia
Wouldn't a proper, blindingly bright light do the trick instead? Light the buggers up for the world to see!
gavin.starr
Wouldn't a proper, blindingly bright light do the trick instead? Light the buggers up for the world to see! Yea it would but then it would also piss the neighbours off too which I don’t really want to do. Not my supra but my corolla t sport. No damage to the car as I think I may have left it unlocked which is very un-usual as I have a routine before I go to bed which I do every night religiously, unless i saw the lights flash but it didnt actually lock who knows. One of the lads I work with lives just around the corner, I’m talking 5 houses away didn’t turn in for work today as his motorbike had been stolen too. Honda CBR1000 fireblade. Luckily it has been found, but not so luckily it’s been found ditched in the river/canal link just around the block about 500 yards away so it’s probably a right off now. I really hope someone know who they are and goes vigilante on them, it really gets my back up. Scum Bags.

Or try something like this http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=262316031787&globalID=EBAY-GB

Tsia
Recently got myself a cheap IP camera off eBay (£26 posted!) that has IR etc, haven't had any issues with it so far. In case anybody is interested: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/JW0003-Wanscam-IP-CCTV-PTZ-Wireless-Home-Security-Webcam-Camera-Night-Vision-Cam-/141800311451?var=&hash=item2103f50a9b:m:mVdiqg-OAgSzCvITHq-nbCA Bit low resolution, but does the job.
