sorry, no

Don't be sorry, your just being your usual useful self... as useful as a one armed trapeze artist with an itchy arse

Jurgens probably your best bet mate :)

Yeah i'm speaking to Jurgen.

Have you had a look on SF Steve?

There are some for sale ... even Jacks upgraded ones.

Yeah had a look on there but most want very strong money for them and with shipping it just kills it.

Looking for a V160/161 Gearbox. Anyone know of one or have one knocking around they would consider selling?

Don't think people tend to have these knocking around. Second hand people are asking £4k for these boxes. New they are around £6k so its getting a tough call which way to go. Probably its best to buy a car as a donor and strip/sell the other parts.

As a post script for anyone interested in a new Getrag box the lowest price, excluding freight I've located in under £5k inclusive of VAT. Never used this company but they have been going 3 years and have a growing credit balance and rating so appear to be an OK outfit. Think I'd go for a new option rather than spend £3k+ on a well used example.

Albeit for smaller items, I've used ICP many times and they've been great.

There was an Australian site/guy that was selling a few brand new ones at a decent price landed in the UK. Can't for the life of me remember where I saw it though. Could've been here or that FB group

Funnily enough there was one sold the other day that the guy had knocking about for a couple of years so stranger things have happened. ;)

I'm already in contact with Import Car Parts, thank you. Would love to get my hands on a new V161 at a sensible price but it's not looking good.
