Dnk
Ok so i'm off to Riga for a week in April To fly from B'ham it's £180 with a stop in Frankfurt, the stops and flight times aren't great so looking elsewhere I can go direct from Luton return for £42 which is great but then they want £46 to check in a suitcase !! Ric
Skyscanner always gives me the best results. However, once i know the score, times etc from Skyscanner i usually always book direct with the airline.
Shane
I fly with wizz quite often and they are cheap, but you always get stung on the little extras. Even the hand baggage deal costs, what you can take on as hand baggage free is not much more than a kids satchel, in fact my four year olds Elsa bag was technically too large, if you want to take a standard size cabin bag on board they charge. If you are likely to fly a few times in a year with them then pay for a years membership of the wizzclub, it paid for itself on the first booking for us. Good cut price airline though if you don't expect all the frills, steer clear of the car hire deals though, they are never what they seem. We flew back into Luton last week and the pilot came in too fast and a few metres above the tarmac bottled it and pulled back up, bum twitch moment, most of the plane applauded when he got us down the second time, that was after a 30 minute fly over the home counties. Dnk
I've flown with WIZZ from Luton before just don't recall there being such a discrepancy in the price from doing it on Opodo to WIZZ's website Budget flight doesn't bother me as its only 2 1/2 hours or so to Riga
j_jza80
I hate wizz air no reserved seating, so boarding is horrible.

Shane
I hate wizz air no reserved seating, so boarding is horrible. They introduced reserved seating sometime ago, but I agree prior to that it was a complete free for all. But as for getting what you pay for, not sure I 100% agree with that anymore when it comes to short haul stuff, unless you are happy to pay over and above standard. But lets face it, if you book a flight for less than 100 quid per leg you are not going to get much chucked in. I flew out from Luton to Timisoara last week with my wife and daughter, hired a car for a week, paid for collision waver and it came to 270 all in for the three of us return. It would have cost us more to buy 3 open return day tickets from Wellingborough to London, so I wasn't expecting Emirates style service.
