evinX
How many of you have the standard spare wheel in your supras? I do, for those who have aftermarket wheels/ nuts, remember to keep 5 standard wheel nuts in the boot incase you ever need to use the space saver
supra900bhp
I do with nuts and a can of spray sealant oh and push through tyre strips over kill but I will get it home one way or another lol and it all fits in nicely and you never know anything about it until you had a look under there
Tomyspeedy
Im on standard wheels but was concerned the spare wouldn't clear the UK front brakes. I presume they must do.. Got a can as backup too.

No harm in jacking it up one day and test fitting it if it worries you, it should do or toyota wouldnt have put it in
mc92
Yeah I have mine in the boot. Why not eh, doesn't take up any room, not very heavy, and it'll let me get home if I get a flat close to my house.
JayJay1374
With uk brakes the space saver won't fit the front. If you did get a front puncture you have to fit the space saver to a rear wheel, then fit the rear wheel on the front. Iirc.
MattP
Never carried a spare in a supra just a can of tyre weld and a compressor. If I there is ever an emergency where a tyre is shredded or I'm too far from home to have my butler fetch a spare wheel I would have the car recovered I suppose... Tomyspeedy
Standard UK spec car with its original spare would surly fit over its own front brakes? I'll just have to try it sometime.
Al Massey
I'm pretty sure the wheel fits over uk spec brakes
MattP
The spare in Andrews fits over the UKs but my old Jspec one does not.
hogmaw
I'm pretty sure the wheel fits over uk spec brakes I can confirm it does for the facelift Jap spec, I used it just a few months back

This is the problem I will have as I have 380mm front brakes and 20" with wide rears so I'm in s&@t street no matter what lol but is ok on the rear this is why I have fue different choices in the car hopefully will get me home if close or to a good garage If not very very last hope is the AA picking me up Edited February 21, 2016 by supra900bhp (see edit history)
Style
Yeah my frisbee fits over UK's front and back, must be a facelift things as hogmaw says
Tyson
The space saver is a flat wheel with a concave centre and sits in front of the brakes so it will fit larger brakes. Be pretty short sighted and stupid to fit a space saver that won't fit the car it's from I like the one about taking the rear off and fitting it to the front and the space saver to the rear you may as well walk into the carriageway if you want to die that badly
jim
Ditched my spare a long time ago to fit a sub and some amps, if I ever get a flat (*touch wood) I will sit back, light up a Hamlet and turn up the tunes until someone rescues me
