wesmi01
Hi there, I now own Mr Graham Rudd’s car and have done for a few months. As Nathan probably already knows from the supra forum. Any way the car currently has this list of mods. Hybrid Turbos (larger compressor and steel internals) Blitz Access ECU HKS EVC4 Boost Controller HKS 'R' Spec FMIC (Good for 860bhp) HKS Cams 256 In, 264 Ex ERL Water Injection HKS Super Powerflow Induction Kit (Mushroom) TDI Uprated fuel pump able to deliver 25%-65% more fuel than UK Spec CentreForce Heavy duty clutch Racelogic Adjustable traction control + launch Super Drager 'Priest' exhaust (Fully SS) B&M Short Shift Kit, stock shifter and leather gear knob available HKS Rear cat replacement pipe Chris Wilson Front Cat replacement pipe (not fitted) HKS Sequential Super Blow-Off (dump) Valve Greddy boost gauge in stock clock position A good percentage of, was supplied, fitted and setup by you guys. Im just wondering if you could possible give me an idea of how to squeeze some more power from the car. Obviously I require approx cost from your selves to do this. As I see it, there are two options, but please correct me if im wrong!! Sort the fuelling out and run higher boost levels than the the 1.2bar I currently have. As you guys know the car I was hoping you could tell me what the hybrids are capable of, that you fitted to it. Also dose the car have the up rated injectors and how well is the ecu currently fuelling the car???? A big single turbo conversion. The car has now done 63000 miles so please also consider any engine maintains that may need to be done for either of the above? Also could you possible tell me when the cam belt was done? I am guessing that it would have been done at appro 52000 when Graham brought the car to you guys to have the hybrids fitted etc. Just need approx figures and ideas now as I plan to do this work at the end of the summer. Many Thanks.
Nathan
Err.....yes. You sent a mail to TDI.....Mark then fowarded it to me as I generally look after the Mk4 guys and now you have posted it here too. I don't mind answering here but the kind of reply necessary would be heavily TDI biased and I don't really want to do full-on non-group business openly on this BBS. Neither would it be fair to others. To save any future confusion, it might be wise for you to mail me directly at [email protected] I will answer your mail offlist. Regards, Nathan TDI PLC
